Petrokimia ties Bellmare 1-1

JAKARTA (JP): Petrokimia Putra's dream of making it to the
third round of the Asian Winners Cup was shaterred after a 1-1
draw against Japan's Bellmare Hiratsuka in Gresik on Sunday.

The Japanese routed the East Java team 6-0 in the first round
last month in Hiratsuka, Japan.

Bellmare scored the goal first, in the 36th minute, with
Daichi Matsuyama taking advantage of a chaotic fight in front of
Petrokima's goal post. Singgih Pitono, on loan from Malang's
Arema, netted the equalizer three minutes later.

Both sides launched numerous attacks after the draw but none
were successfully converted into goals until the whistle was
