Petrokimia Gresik Wins Best CEO and Corporate Awards at BUMN Excellence 2026
Petrokimia Gresik, a company providing agroindustrial solutions and member of the Pupuk Indonesia holding, has secured two awards in the Best CEO and Corporate categories at the 15th BUMN Excellence 2026 awards ceremony. The awards were received directly by Petrokimia Gresik’s Chief Executive Director, Daconi Khotob, in Jakarta recently.
The awards include the Best CEO Visionary Leadership award, presented to Daconi Khotob as Chief Executive Director of Petrokimia Gresik in recognition of his ability to deliver innovation and sustainable long-term strategy for company growth. Additionally, Petrokimia Gresik also obtained the award for Best Company Growth Strategy.
“We express our gratitude for the appreciation given by stakeholders towards the hard work of Petrokimia Gresik personnel in innovating. This award is recognition of the company’s success in implementing long-term business strategy. In line with management’s commitment to always ground ourselves on the best vision to maintain the company’s competitiveness in the future,” said Daconi upon receiving the award.
He further stated that Petrokimia Gresik is committed to contributing to the advancement of Indonesian agriculture and the domestic chemical industry. To achieve these goals, the company is implementing various sustainable business development strategies.
These strategies include developing fertiliser product lines to support national food security, developing related chemical products in line with government programmes to encourage industrial downstream integration, as well as developing new factories and improving existing factories and facilities.
In line with this strategy, Petrokimia Gresik is preparing several strategic projects to strengthen production capacity. Through this approach, the company seeks to enhance the competitiveness of Indonesia’s domestic fertiliser industry whilst strengthening its contribution to supporting Indonesia’s food security.
“Besides strengthening the core fertiliser business to support the national food security programme, Petrokimia Gresik is also developing various medium and long-term strategic projects,” he emphasised.
Daconi added that besides business aspects, Petrokimia Gresik continues to strengthen corporate governance, innovation culture, and the development of superior human resources. All of these efforts are carried out by prioritising the principles of occupational safety, environmental sustainability, and good governance as the foundation of company operations.
