PetroChina Donates Two Ambulances to Strengthen Operational Readiness of Jambi's Adhyaksa Hospital

Support for strengthening healthcare services in the region continues to flow ahead of the operational launch of Adhyaksa Hospital in Jambi. PetroChina International Jabung Ltd. has donated two ambulances to support the hospital’s operational readiness. The ambulances were symbolically handed over to the Head of the Jambi High Prosecutor’s Office, Sugeng Hariadi, at the Jambi High Prosecutor’s Office on Monday (22/6). The assistance is part of a collaboration between the company and the Jambi High Prosecutor’s Office to support the provision of healthcare facilities. Vice President of Business Support at PetroChina International Jabung Ltd., Alfiani, stated that adequate medical transport is a crucial aspect of healthcare services, particularly for emergency handling and patient referrals. “The ambulances we have handed over are equipped with stretchers, oxygen cylinders, first-aid equipment, communication radios, and standard medical equipment needed in emergency situations,” Alfiani said. He expressed hope that the assistance would be utilised to improve the quality of healthcare services while strengthening synergy between the company and stakeholders in Jambi Province. Adhyaksa Hospital Jambi began construction in 2025 and is currently in the operational preparation phase, including the provision of supporting facilities and infrastructure before serving the public. According to Alfiani, the collaboration with the Jambi High Prosecutor’s Office is also part of efforts to strengthen relationships with stakeholders who have supported the company’s oil and gas operations and exploration activities in the Jabung Working Area. Meanwhile, Head of the Jambi High Prosecutor’s Office, Sugeng Hariadi, said the presence of the ambulances will complete the readiness of Adhyaksa Hospital’s services, enabling it to provide fast and responsive healthcare to the community. “The land ambulances we have received are an important part of completing the operational readiness of Adhyaksa Hospital Jambi so that it can provide optimal, fast, and responsive services to the community,” Sugeng said. He added that synergy between the government, businesses, SKK Migas, and various stakeholders is necessary to strengthen public services, particularly in the health sector. According to him, the contribution of businesses through social responsibility programmes can support sustainable regional development.
