PERURI Urges Businesses to Use Official E-Meterai

PERURI has reminded the public and business actors to use electronic meterai (e-meterai) through official channels that have partnered with the company.

Director of Digital Business at PERURI, Farah Fitria Rahmayati, stated in a written release in Jakarta on Thursday that the use of official e-meterai is essential to ensure electronic documents retain their legal validity. The digital transformation across various sectors has driven administrative processes to become faster, more practical, and efficient. However, the increasing use of electronic documents also demands certainty of legality and security so that these documents can be used legitimately in accordance with applicable legal provisions.

“Therefore, the public is urged to obtain e-meterai only through official channels that have partnered with PERURI,” said Farah.

In practice, e-meterai can be used for various digital document needs, ranging from business administration, corporate documents, and partnership agreements, to personal administrative requirements. Users simply need to prepare a document in PDF format and then affix the e-meterai through the official channels of PERURI’s authorised distributors or resellers.

PERURI stated that official e-meterai can be obtained through PT Peruri Digital Security at e-meterai.co.id and meterai-elektronik.com, PT Mitra Pajakku at pajakku.e-meterai.co.id, PT Mitracomm Ekasarana at mitracomm.e-meterai.co.id, and PT Pos Indonesia at posind.e-meterai.co.id.

The presence of e-meterai is expected to support the provision of administrative services that are more accessible, efficient, secure, and legally certain for the public and business actors. “This step is expected to broaden public access to e-meterai services while supporting the acceleration of national digital transformation through the provision of digital administrative services that are safe, reliable, and legally certain,” Farah concluded.
