Jakarta (ANTARA) — PERURI is strengthening its programme to support micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) by building business capacity and expanding access to international markets.

One initiative is to facilitate the participation of two MSMEs in Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) 2026, taking place from 14 to 18 October 2026 at ICE BSD City, Tangerang.

“This golden opportunity will allow PERURI-supported MSMEs to explore business partnerships, learn about international quality standards and pave the way for long-term trade contracts with global partners,” PERURI Head of Corporate Secretary Adi Sunardi said in a written statement in Jakarta on Monday.

The two selected businesses are D’craft Indonesia, which makes a range of environmentally friendly wooden handicrafts, and Dakey House, which turns coconut waste into value-added growing media.

Both businesses previously took part in PERURI’s Digital Entrepreneur Academy incubation programme and underwent a selection process before being given the opportunity to introduce their products to international markets.

Adi said the two brands demonstrated that the company’s ongoing support was effective in developing high-value local products capable of competing globally.

He added that MSME support focused not only on improving product quality, but also on preparing businesses to meet the demands of international markets.

“We want PERURI-supported MSMEs to present products that are high-quality, innovative and sustainable, in line with the standards sought by international markets,” Adi said.

He said the company would continue providing support, from strengthening business capacity to opening up market access.

PERURI also hopes its partner businesses will make full use of the governance and digitalisation training they have received to expand their export reach internationally.

“We hope participation in TEI 2026 will be their first step towards entering global supply chains and helping to strengthen national exports,” he said.
