PERURI strengthens local synergy through emergency preparedness donation in Karawang
Jakarta (ANTARA) — State-owned enterprise Perusahaan Umum Percetakan Uang Republik Indonesia (PERURI) has strengthened local synergy through the donation of an ambulance for emergency preparedness in its operational area of Karawang, West Java.
PERURI Head of Corporate Secretary Adi Sunardi said in a written statement in Jakarta on Friday that the ambulance unit was handed over to the Karawang Military District Command (Kodim 0604/Karawang), coinciding with the first day of Ramadan, as a form of corporate support for strengthening preparedness and operational support facilities for the military unit.
The assistance forms part of PERURI's Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programme, which focuses on strengthening facilities and supporting infrastructure in the company's operational areas.
The company considers collaboration with various parties in Karawang, including the Indonesian Armed Forces (TNI), necessary to support stability and institutional readiness in the region.
"Ramadan is a month of caring and togetherness. On the first day of Ramadan, we want to provide support that can strengthen the readiness and operations of the unit," said Adi.
Adi added that as a company operating in Karawang Regency, PERURI is committed to building constructive synergy and collaboration with local stakeholders.
Meanwhile, Infantry Lieutenant Colonel Naryanto, as the representative receiving the ambulance donation, said the additional ambulance would assist the operational needs of Kodim 0604/Karawang, particularly in supporting personnel mobility and handling emergency situations within the unit's environment.
"With this ambulance, support for the execution of duties and response to internal emergency situations can be carried out more quickly and optimally, ensuring the unit's readiness is maintained," he said.
PERURI stated that the ambulance handover is part of its ongoing TJSL commitment, aligned with the needs of strategic stakeholders. The ambulance is expected to support the operations of Kodim 0604/Karawang in carrying out its duties.
