PERURI pushes for fit-for-purpose digital transformation of government
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Perusahaan Umum Percetakan Uang Republik Indonesia (PERURI) is encouraging the digital transformation of government procurement to be built on specific needs so that the solutions delivered are fit for purpose.
“Technology is also expected to provide convenience that can strengthen trust, so that its benefits can be felt concretely by the government, industry, and all citizens,” said Head of Marketing and Performance Insight Department at PERURI Fiandy Fathoni in a written statement in Jakarta on Sunday.
PERURI emphasised that digital transformation needs to begin with a thorough understanding of user needs, business processes, and the characteristics of public services.
Through this approach, technology will not only stop at the digitalisation of processes, but will also be able to answer challenges in a relevant way, improve service effectiveness, and deliver benefits that can be felt directly by the government and the public.
Fiandy said this approach is in line with PERURI’s mandate as GovTech Indonesia in supporting the implementation of the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE), as mandated in Presidential Regulation Number 82 of 2023 concerning the Acceleration of Digital Transformation and Integration of National Digital Services.
In carrying out this mandate, PERURI continues to develop a comprehensive digital service ecosystem.
The ecosystem is designed to support the integration of access, identity, data, and various government operational needs.
In this way, the public gains easier access to public services based on digital identity, accompanied by more integrated document management.
To further support the acceleration of the digital ecosystem in the government sector, PERURI is participating in the 11th Government Procurement Forum & Expo (GPFE) 2026.
The participation aims to expand the space for collaboration with the government and business actors to strengthen the procurement ecosystem and government services that are adaptive to technological developments.
This commitment is realised through the development of secure, integrated, and trusted solutions to support increasingly high-quality public services and deliver tangible benefits to the public.
