PERURI pushes for campus digitalisation through electronic diplomas
State-owned banknote printing company PERURI is driving digitalisation in the higher education sector through the introduction of the National Digital Diploma. “Digital transformation in education is not just about shifting services to a digital platform, but also about building an integrated, secure ecosystem capable of delivering a better service experience,” said PERURI Digital Business Director Farah Fitria Rahmayanti in a written statement on Friday. She explained that the National Digital Diploma is an electronic academic document issuance solution equipped with an Electronic Signature and Electronic Seal. This system is designed to reduce the risk of document forgery while accelerating the graduate verification process for both educational institutions and the professional world. The National Digital Diploma is also said to be ready for integration with digital credential ecosystems at national and international levels. To promote the adoption of the National Digital Diploma, PERURI introduced the system at the Mitra Universitas Riau Exhibition Day (MUED) 2026 event. She explained that MUED 2026 serves as a collaborative platform for universities, the business sector, and strategic institutions to accelerate national digital transformation. Farah noted that PERURI’s participation in MUED 2026 demonstrates the company’s commitment to synergising the education sector and industry. This step is expected to build a secure and adaptive education governance foundation to produce top talent in the digital economy era. In addition to introducing the National Digital Diploma, PERURI also presented the SuperApps Kampus concept, which integrates various academic and administrative services into a single platform. These services include course registration, grade access, tuition fee payments, and career services, all accessible through a Single Sign-On (SSO) system based on PERURI ID. “PERURI is here to support Indonesian universities in moving towards more modern, efficient, and trustworthy educational services,” she concluded.
