PERURI provides educational assistance to 15 schools in Karawang
Semarang, Central Java (ANTARA) - Perusahaan Umum Percetakan Uang Republik Indonesia (PERURI) has distributed educational aid in the form of a computer set to 15 primary schools scattered throughout Karawang Regency, West Java. PERURI’s Head of Corporate Secretary, Adi Sunardi, stated in a written release received in Semarang, Central Java, on Friday, that the company is committed to supporting educational improvement programmes in Karawang Regency. The 15 primary schools in Karawang Regency receiving the computer set aid are SDN Mulyasejati I, SDN Mulyasejati II, SDN Mulyasejati IV, SDN Cibalongsari IV, SDN Anggadita III, SDN Puserjaya, SDN Sukaharja II, SDN Sukaharja III, SDN Jatiwangi II, SDN Jatibaru I, SDN Kalangsurya II, SDN Cintaasih III, SDN Karangjaya II, SDN Sukajaya III, and SDN Pasirmulya I. PERURI hopes that the provision of adequate and equitable educational facilities can produce superior, competitive, adaptive human resources capable of driving regional and national progress. The distribution of this educational aid also involved BAPPERIDA. Head of the Economy and Natural Resources Division of BAPPERIDA Karawang, Nanang Fakhrurazi, stated that this collaboration ensures the aid is on target and integrated with government efforts to improve the human development index. “This synergy is the right collaboration to enhance the quality of education and community welfare in Karawang Regency,” said Nanang. Previously, PERURI also distributed educational facilities and infrastructure aid to Yayasan Puri Artha in Karawang, West Java. The aid provided covers various educational levels, from Early Childhood Education (PAUD) to Junior High School (SMP) and Religious Education. The programme is part of PERURI’s social and environmental responsibility (TJSL) pillar, focusing on achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly the point on quality education.
