PERURI promotes digitalisation of recruitment through e-stamp services
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Perusahaan Umum Percetakan Uang Republik Indonesia (PERURI) is promoting the acceleration of digitalisation in recruitment administration through its e-stamp service, which can enhance the efficiency of the job selection process while supporting compliance with taxes on electronic documents.
Head of Corporate Secretary at PERURI, Adi Sunardi, stated in a written release in Jakarta on Friday that the use of e-stamps is increasingly relevant amid the growing adoption of digital documents in recruitment processes, both in government agencies and private companies.
According to him, various documents such as application letters, statements, and other administrative documents are now often processed electronically and carry the same legal consequences as physical documents.
“The implementation of e-stamps has now become a primary support in the employee recruitment process, both in government agencies and private companies. Through a fully digital recruitment system, the use of e-stamps provides an efficient and rapid experience for job applicants in completing their administrative files,” said Adi.
Adi explained that as a state-assigned company, PERURI provides e-stamps as a solution to fulfil stamp duty obligations on electronic documents.
The function of e-stamps is equivalent to affixed stamps but more practical for digital administration needs.
He assessed that the use of e-stamps can also support operational efficiency in companies and agencies because the stamping process can be done online without requiring physical interaction.
In addition, e-stamps are considered to have a higher level of security because they are equipped with digital verification technology to minimise the risk of document forgery.
PERURI highlighted several benefits of using e-stamps, including supporting regulatory compliance, enhancing document security, accelerating administrative processes, and maintaining the integrity of electronic documents.
To ensure the authenticity of documents, Adi stated that users can verify them through PERURI’s official portal or the e-Meterai Scanner application, which displays unique data on the electronic stamp.
PERURI also encourages the public to purchase e-stamps through official affiliated distributors, one of which is via the platform meterai-elektronik.com.
