Peruri Introduces Technology to Guarantee Authenticity of Creative Industry Products

Peruri has introduced its Peruri RFID Blockchain technology to guarantee transparency, traceability, and authenticity of export products for creative industry players in Yogyakarta. CEO of PUNDI Group and INA Trading AmirAmiranto Adi Wibowo stated that the need for digital product identities is increasingly critical as international buyers now demand certainty regarding product origins and the authenticity of export documents. “Digital Product Passports are mandatory for business actors because buyers require certainty of product origin and the authenticity of export documents,” Amiranto said in a statement in Jakarta on Thursday. The technology was introduced at a Seminar & Curation event for Yogyakarta Product Authenticity Assurance with PERURI RFID Blockchain & Curation, also attended by PERURI’s Director of Finance & Risk Management Fajar Rizki and YAPETRI Chairman Syahril. Amid rising global market demands for transparency, sustainability, and product traceability, Yogyakarta businesses face new challenges that are no longer solely about product quality, but also the ability to digitally prove product origin and authenticity. The Peruri RFID Blockchain technology is the result of a collaboration between Peruri Smart Card, PERURI Digital Security, and PUNDI. The solution enables each product to have a unique digital identity, authenticity guarantee, and a globally verifiable Digital Product Passport. Through the INA Trading platform, businesses can also record the carbon footprint generated during the production process. This data includes emissions from transportation, energy consumption, and manufacturing processes, allowing buyers to understand the environmental impact of the products they purchase. CEO of Peruri Smart Card Muchrizal explained that the RFID technology affixed to products serves as a digital identity that stores the product’s track record from upstream to downstream. “Through this technology, a bamboo craft product from Yogyakarta can have a complete digital track record from the raw material cultivation stage to becoming a finished product ready for export,” he said. Meanwhile, Peruri Digital Security provides digital signature technology, smart contracts, and digital security systems to maintain product data integrity. PUNDI supplies the blockchain infrastructure and digital platform that allows the entire product journey to be recorded transparently and be difficult to manipulate. The use of this technology is considered increasingly relevant as various international regulations develop regarding Digital Product Passports, supply chain traceability, sustainability reporting, ESG (environmental, social, and governance), circular economy, and trade transparency in a number of countries and regions such as the European Union, United States, Australia, Japan, and South Korea.
