Peruri Distributes Sacrificial Animals to Communities for Eid al-Adha
JAKARTA – In the spirit of spreading care and togetherness during the 1447 Hijriah Eid al-Adha celebration, Perusahaan Umum Percetakan Uang Republik Indonesia (Perum Peruri) distributed sacrificial animals to communities in Karawang, Jakarta, Bogor, and Purwakarta.
The initiative forms part of the company’s commitment to positively contribute and deliver tangible benefits for community welfare.
This year, Peruri provided four cows and seven goats through collaboration with its internal social, arts, and religious organisation, PERURI STARS.
The symbolic handover took place on Tuesday, 26 May 2026, with Dawam H., Head of Corporate Communication and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at Peruri, presenting the donation to Karawang Deputy Regent Maslani at the local government office.
‘Eid al-Adha teaches us the values of sincerity, sacrifice, and care for others. Through this distribution, Peruri aims to remain present among the community as a state-mandated company and part of a social ecosystem growing alongside society,’ said Adi in an official statement on Friday, 29 May 2026.
He added that the sacrificial animal initiative is expected to become an annual company event.
‘Moving forward, we hope this spirit of sharing continues to grow, with more sacrificial animals distributed to benefit an increasing number of communities,’ Adi added.
Peruri hopes the donated animals will bring blessings, strengthen corporate-community relations, and provide tangible benefits to recipients.
