State-owned printing company PERURI has distributed four cows and seven goats to communities to mark Eid al-Adha 1447 AH. Adi Sunardi, PERURI’s Head of Corporate Secretary, stated in a written statement on Friday that the sacrificial animals were distributed across Karawang, Jakarta, Bogor, and Purwakarta. The initiative was carried out in collaboration with PERURI STARS, the company’s internal organisation focused on social, artistic, and religious activities. Adi said the distribution forms part of the company’s commitment to positively contribute to and deliver tangible benefits for community welfare. He added that the distribution during Eid al-Adha is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to enhance the effectiveness of its Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programme sustainably. He explained that Eid al-Adha teaches values of sincerity, sacrifice, and compassion towards others. ‘Through this distribution, PERURI aims to remain present within communities as a company fulfilling national strategic mandates while being part of a social ecosystem that grows alongside society,’ Adi said. Adi added that the distribution aligns with PERURI’s support for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (TPB). The support specifically targets goals related to No Poverty, Zero Hunger, Good Health and Well-being, and Reduced Inequalities. Through this initiative, PERURI hopes the sacrificial animals will bring blessings, strengthen the company’s relationship with communities, and deliver tangible benefits to recipients. ‘Looking ahead, we hope this spirit of sharing continues to grow, with an increased number of sacrificial animals distributed to benefit more communities,’ Adi added.
