Perumdam TKR Provides Free Water Connections to Residents Affected by Jatiwaringin Landfill Fire

Perumdam Tirta Kerta Raharja (TKR) in Tangerang Regency is providing a free water connection installation programme for residents affected by the fire at the Jatiwaringin landfill. The assistance also includes the distribution of clean water using tanker trucks, as conditions around the landfill have not fully recovered and the need for clean water remains urgent.

As part of the programme, the nationally recognised water utility is waiving water bills for three months for the recipients. Residents only need to provide their identity card (KTP) for administrative registration. The company also distributed basic food packages and health equipment. This initiative is part of the local government’s commitment to accelerating community recovery and easing the economic and psychological burden on those impacted by the disaster.
