Perumda Pasar Jaya to Hold Prime Ramadan Bazaar at City Hall, Note the Dates

Perumda Pasar Jaya held the Prime Ramadan Bazaar in Balai Kota, Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, Central Jakarta. Pasar Jaya offers a range of goods at affordable prices to the public ahead of Eid al-Fitr.

We will hold the bazaar for two days tomorrow. It is to help, in line with instructions from the Governor, as we approach Eid al-Fitr, so that the public can obtain items which we curate from our markets, said Agus Himawan, Chief Executive Officer of Perumda Pasar Jaya, on Sunday, 8 March 2026.

Agus noted that the various products sold have undergone Pasar Jaya’s curating process to be offered to the public. He assured that the prices of the products sold are cheaper than market prices.

‘The products range from fashion to culinary items, and so on. So that the public can obtain prices that are certainly cheaper than those in the market,’ he said.

The event will also include a subsidised staple foods redemption programme as part of Pasar Jaya’s social commitment in collaboration with related Regional Owned Enterprises (BUMD) to assist the public. The programme is expected to deliver direct benefits amid rising demand during Ramadan and ahead of Eid al-Fitr.

‘Including tomorrow we are preparing staple foods with subsidised redemption prices. So the market price is Rp 150,000, here redeemed at Rp 100,000. We are collaborating with our sister company. Roughly 3,000 packages are being prepared,’ Agus said.

Agus then urged the public to join the bazaar and not miss out on the subsidised products. He said they are working with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government and a number of BUMDs for this event.

‘Jakarta residents, please join to view or purchase Eid-related needs at Balai Kota. This bazaar is organised by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government together with BUMDs,’ he said.

The bazaar will be held on 9-10 March 2026, from 10:00 to 17:00 WIB. The bazaar will feature a range of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), social activities, and entertainment.
