Jakarta – In commemoration of the sacred month of Ramadan 1447 Hijriah, Perum Jasa Tirta II has launched a series of Ramadan Safari activities across four of its operational regions. Beyond serving as a routine annual agenda, this initiative represents a strategic opportunity to strengthen internal consolidation, enhance synergy between units, and reaffirm the company’s commitment to social responsibility towards the community.

Chief Executive Director Imam Santoso stressed that the activity extends beyond ceremonial significance. The Ramadan Safari functions as a mechanism for strengthening coordination across all work units in the execution of their duties and responsibilities. “The Ramadan Safari is not merely an outreach activity, but also serves to reinforce organisational cohesion and align the steps of all work units to ensure water management operates optimally, sustainably, and with accountability,” Imam stated.

The inaugural Ramadan Safari took place at Masjid As Salam, Perum Jasa Tirta II’s central office in Purwakarta, West Java, on Thursday, 26 February, in the afternoon. The event commenced with a religious talk aimed at deepening the spiritual meaning of worship during the sacred month, followed by the distribution of financial assistance and a communal iftar meal. The activity was attended by Perum Jasa Tirta II personnel from various units, including Regional Unit IV, the Direct Benefit Programme Management Unit (UPPML), and the Education and Training Centre. The Board of Commissioners and Board of Directors were also present, demonstrating support for strengthening the company’s spiritual values.

Subsequent Ramadan Safari activities will be held at the Regional Unit III Office in Subang on 3 March 2026, involving Regional Units II (Karawang), III, and V (Cirebon). The third activity is scheduled for 6 March 2026 at the Regional Unit I Office in Bekasi, to be attended by Regional Unit I, the Special Work Unit (UKK) SPAM Regional, and Perum Jasa Tirta II’s subsidiary, PT Jasa Tirta Luhur (PT JTL). The Ramadan Safari series will conclude on 11 March 2026 at the Regional Unit VI Office in Serang, involving Regional Units VI and VII (Lampung).

Through this series of Ramadan Safari activities, Perum Jasa Tirta II reaffirms its commitment to integrating spiritual values, professionalism, and social responsibility in every aspect of water resource management, ensuring sustainable benefits for the community.
