The contribution of PT Pertamina (Persero) to state revenue continues to show a positive trend. Throughout the 2025 fiscal year, the state-owned energy company contributed Rp360.76 trillion to the state through taxes, non-tax state revenue (PNBP), and dividends. The scale of this contribution was announced at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPS) for the 2025 Fiscal Year held in Jakarta on Tuesday (23/6/2026). This payment represents one form of Pertamina’s strategic role, not only as a national energy provider but also as a significant contributor to state finances. PT Pertamina (Persero) President Director Simon Aloysius Mantiri stated that the company’s performance throughout 2025 demonstrated Pertamina’s ability to maintain energy security while providing added value to the national economy. ‘Overall, the achievements of the 2025 fiscal year show that Pertamina is not only strengthening national energy security but also driving the transition towards lower-carbon energy, increasing its contribution to the national economy, and maintaining healthy and sustainable financial fundamentals,’ Simon said. In addition to payments to the state, Pertamina recorded revenue of Rp1,167.99 trillion with EBITDA reaching Rp188.33 trillion and a net profit of Rp55.20 trillion throughout 2025. Pertamina’s economic contribution is also reflected in the realisation of domestic investment, which reached Rp97.20 trillion. The company also recorded the absorption of domestic product spending (PDN) amounting to Rp531.5 trillion, which has a multiplier effect on national economic activity. On the operational side, Pertamina maintained oil and gas production above 1 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (BOEPD). In the downstream sector, the company supplies around 70 per cent of the national fuel oil (BBM) needs, while the gas business recorded a 4 per cent growth in transmission volume compared to the previous year. Pertamina is also continuing its energy transition agenda through the development of new and renewable energy and decarbonisation programmes. Throughout 2025, these various initiatives succeeded in reducing carbon emissions by 2.27 million tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e). Simon emphasised that these achievements do not merely reflect corporate performance but also the company’s responsibility in ensuring the energy supply for the public and the national productive sector is maintained. ‘For Pertamina, these achievements are not just a reflection of corporate performance. Behind them lies an increasingly greater responsibility to ensure energy remains available and reliable for the public, industry, and various strategic sectors that drive the national economy,’ he said. PT Pertamina (Persero) President Commissioner Mochamad Iriawan stated that the decisions made at the RUPS are expected to serve as a foundation for the company to continue increasing its contribution to the state and society. ‘The decisions taken at this RUPS are an important step for the company’s journey ahead. Hopefully, the results of these decisions will lead Pertamina to achieve even better performance and accomplishments in the future,’ Iriawan said.
