Pertamina's Chief Ensures Fuel Supply Ahead of 2026 Mudik, Inspects KM 57 Fuel Station

Pertamina’s Chief Commissioner Mochamad Iriawan (Iwan Bule) conducted a field visit to the KM 57 Rest Area Fuel Station (SPBU) on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road in Karawang, West Java, on Monday 9 March 2026.

The visit, part of the 1447H Ramadan Safari series, aimed to ensure adequate fuel supply and operational readiness of facilities for traveller comfort ahead of the 2026 Eid exodus.

“I came down to the field today to ensure there are no obstacles, however small, in distribution. Every drop of fuel must reach consumers smoothly. KM 57 is a vital point, so stock availability and service speed here are our top priority,” Iwan Bule stated in a press release on Tuesday 10 March 2026.

Beyond this, Iwan Bule also inspected cashless payment services readiness to accelerate refuelling and minimise queues, health services preparedness, and field personnel’s readiness to manage traffic flow in the station area.

As a show of moral support, he also engaged with and offered appreciation to operators and field personnel who would remain on standby during the Eid holiday.

Meanwhile, Pertamina’s Vice President for Corporate Communication Muhammad Baron stated that the presence of Pertamina management at critical locations represented the company’s full commitment to maintaining national energy security.

“Ensuring energy availability and service readiness for travellers has been the main focus of all Pertamina management and officers,” he said.

To address the projected surge in vehicle volume during 2026’s exodus, Pertamina has deployed additional services, including the Pertamina Delivery Service (fuel delivery orders), mobile fuel tankers (portable fuel stations), and placement of modular stations at strategic points to manage congestion.
