Pertamina Transports Ride-Hailing Drivers on Free Homecoming Journey to Several Javanese Cities
PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has launched a free homecoming programme for online ride-hailing drivers (ojol) heading to various cities in Central Java and East Java.
Roberth MV Dumatubun, Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, explained that the programme was established to give ride-hailing driver partners the opportunity to return to their hometowns safely and comfortably.
“This free homecoming programme is a form of appreciation to our online ride-hailing driver partners, who have been an integral part of our loyal customer ecosystem for MyPertamina products and services,” Roberth said in a statement on Monday, 16 March 2026.
He added that Pertamina Patra Niaga wanted to ensure the driver partners could also enjoy quality time with their families during Eid.
“We want our driver partners to experience the joy of gathering together with family in their hometowns during Idul Fitri,” he said.
The programme’s departure took place on Saturday, 15 March 2026 at Keong Mas Plaza in Jakarta’s TMII, with routes to several cities in Central and East Java, including Pekalongan, Kendal, Semarang, Surakarta, Wonogiri, Kebumen, and Surabaya.
“With the available routes, we hope that programme participants can reach various destinations with safer and more comfortable travel,” said Roberth.
Several participants in the Free Homecoming Programme with MyPertamina expressed gratitude for the initiative, particularly the online ride-hailing driver partners and their families wishing to return home for Eid.
“I received the information from a friend who shared the registration link, and the process was very straightforward. I travelled with my family, four people in total, heading to Kebumen in Central Java,” said Hendri, one of the participants who travelled with his family.
