Pertamina-Telkomsel offer BBM benefits for ride-hailing drivers
Jakarta — PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, together with Telkomsel, has launched a data-package programme with the benefit of an e-voucher for BBM for online motorcycle taxi drivers (ojol). Director of Retail Marketing at Pertamina Patra Niaga, Eko Ricky Susanto, said in a Jakarta statement on Wednesday that the collaboration forms part of Pertamina’s digital transformation to strengthen its payment ecosystem and app-based services. This synergy among state-owned enterprises is also intended to deliver direct benefits to the public, particularly to online motorcycle taxi drivers who have high mobility each day, he said. Through this programme, ojol drivers who purchase the special ojol package through the MyTelkomsel app will receive a MyPertamina e-voucher worth Rp25,000. The voucher can be used to purchase BBM at Pertamina fuel stations during the programme period 1-30 March 2026. Eko added that the collaboration is a strategic step in strengthening the national digital ecosystem while providing added value for online ride-hailing drivers. The MyPertamina and MyTelkomsel collaboration is a manifestation of synergy to deliver tangible benefits to online ride-hailing partners. Through the bundling programme of data packages and the BBM e-Voucher, we aim to help ojol drivers secure operational cost incentives while promoting the use of digital transactions at Pertamina’s petrol stations,” he said. He also believes that strengthening the digital ecosystem will provide added value for all parties. ‘For ojol drivers, there are direct benefits in the form of BBM incentives. For Telkomsel, this drives ride-hailing data-package transactions and customer loyalty,’ he said. For Pertamina, the programme expands active MyPertamina users and accelerates the adoption of digital vouchers as part of service transformation. Eko hopes the collaboration can continue to grow and reach more people. ‘This synergy is a concrete step in building an integrated and inclusive Indonesian digital ecosystem, while delivering sustainable added value for all parties,’ he said. Telkomsel’s Director of Sales Stanislaus Susatyo emphasised the strength of two industry leaders—Pertamina Patra Niaga in retail energy services, and Telkomsel in digital connectivity—united to support the specific needs of driver partners. ‘For driver partners, reliable connectivity and energy that is always ready are two essential needs when earning a living,’ he said. Through the integration of MyTelkomsel and MyPertamina, he continued, they simplify the transactional journey. The B2B synergy between Pertamina Patra Niaga, Telkomsel, and ride-hailing partners is designed so that flagship partners can remain productive during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 2026.
