Pertamina Talks 2026 Discusses Strategic Energy Issues in an Informative Format

Energy issues are often considered technical, yet their role is closely tied to daily life, from supporting mobility to ensuring homes remain warm. To bridge this gap, Pertamina is introducing a more open and publicly accessible discussion space through Pertamina Talks. In partnership with detikcom, the programme is packaged as an interactive hybrid talkshow format. Pertamina Talks addresses strategic energy issues with a more grounded approach, making them easy to understand for various groups. Carrying the theme ‘Behind the Scenes: Pertamina Safeguarding Energy Resilience and Wise Energy Use’, Pertamina Talks is not merely a discussion forum but also a public education space. In the first episode, the public is invited to understand that energy resilience is not just a corporate responsibility but also the role of individuals in using energy more wisely. The approach in Pertamina Talks is presented more lightly without reducing the depth of discussion. The goal is for energy issues to be understood more broadly, including by the younger generation who are increasingly close to digital information consumption patterns. In addition, the programme also highlights the role of Pertamina’s officers as the frontline guardians ensuring the continuity of energy operations. Their presence is an important part in keeping the system running, so that daily societal activities are not disrupted. Previously, Pertamina Talks has also featured various topics, one of which was through an episode titled ‘Energizing Indonesia, 68 Years of Pertamina’s Contribution to Indonesia’. That discussion reviewed Pertamina’s long journey in supporting national energy resilience as well as its contributions to development. Looking ahead, Pertamina Talks will be held again by bringing in speakers from various backgrounds to enrich perspectives. The live talkshow format allows for more dynamic interaction, while also opening up space for dialogue closer to the public. The first episode of Pertamina Talks 2026 is scheduled to take place on 7 May 2026 and can be watched live via streaming on detik.com, Instagram and TikTok detikcom, as well as Pertamina’s official YouTube channel.
