Pertamina Takes Decisive Action Against Petrol Station in Subang Over Violations
PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional West Java (JBB) has followed up on the results of an inspection regarding the distribution of Specific Fuel Type (JBT) Biosolar at Petrol Station 30.412.15, Subang Regency. The inspection was conducted on 21 August 2026 as part of efforts to ensure that the distribution of subsidised fuel complies with applicable regulations.
Based on the inspection results, indications of non-compliance in the distribution of JBT Biosolar were found at the station. There were repeated Biosolar filling activities recorded on 13 August 2026 at 23:23, 23:26, and 23:29 WIB.
These activities indicated the use of vehicle barcodes that did not match the licence plate numbers of the vehicles being used. The total volume of fuel from this series of transactions reached 220.31 litres.
As a demonstration of strictness regarding compliance and the governance of subsidised fuel distribution, Pertamina Patra Niaga has issued a Warning Letter to the manager of Petrol Station 34.412.15, which remains in effect for 90 days.
Furthermore, Pertamina Patra Niaga has imposed a sanction suspending the supply of Biosolar products for 30 days, effective from 22 August 2026.
Alongside these enforcement measures, Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional JBB is also conducting continuous guidance for petrol station managers. From the beginning of the year until 3 September 2026, a total of 164 petrol stations across three provinces within the Regional JBB working area have received guidance regarding governance and compliance in the distribution of subsidised fuel to ensure alignment with regulations.
The Area Manager for Communications, Relations & CSR of Regional JBB PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, Reno Fri Daryanto, emphasised that Pertamina Patra Niaga will not tolerate practices that potentially cause subsidised fuel distribution to miss its intended targets.
“Any indication of non-compliance in the distribution process will be followed up through inspections and corrective measures in accordance with applicable regulations. We also continue to strengthen field supervision to ensure that the distribution of subsidised fuel is targeted, transparent, and accountable,” said Reno.

Pertamina Patra Niaga continues to monitor and evaluate the distribution of subsidised fuel across all petrol stations as part of its commitment to maintaining targeted, transparent, and accountable distribution. If any indications of violations or misuse in the distribution of subsidised fuel are found, Pertamina Patra Niaga will take action in accordance with applicable regulations.
