Pertamina strengthens governance to ensure national energy security
PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, as the Downstream Subholding of PT Pertamina (Persero), holds a strategic role in supporting the achievement of national energy security and self-sufficiency by strengthening procurement and distribution governance across Indonesia.
“In conducting its business processes, both operationally and in procurement, Pertamina Patrim Niaga upholds transparency, accountability, responsibility, independence, and fairness (TARIF),” said the Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Roberth MV Dumatubun, in a statement in Jakarta on Tuesday.
According to him, Pertamina also continues to coordinate with law enforcement agencies to anticipate any unwanted disruptions during the procurement and distribution of energy throughout Indonesia.
All these measures, he stated, are undertaken to ensure that the energy required by the public can be distributed effectively, so that the community no longer experiences supply shortages.
“We continue to coordinate with the Attorney General’s Office, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), and the Indonesian National Police to ensure the realisation of governance that is transparent, accountable, and maintains integrity, in accordance with statutory regulations,” he said.
Furthermore, Roberth noted that to ensure there are no violations of the code of conduct or conflicts of interest, all processes are strictly supervised and the TARIF principles are applied across all services.
Pertamina Patra Niaga remains open to establishing cooperation with any party, whether through partnerships or as providers of goods and services, in accordance with applicable guidelines and regulations.
“For members of the public who find or become aware of information regarding disruptions or interference with the company, you may contact the Pertamina Contact Centre at 135,” Roberth added.
