Pertamina Strengthens Energy Resilience Through Procurement Diversification
Denpasar, Bali (ANTARA) – Pertamina Patra Niaga President Director Mars Ega Legowo Putra is committed to strengthening energy resilience by diversifying procurement of crude oil and fuel products.
“We are continuing to take various measures to strengthen both supply and operations, anticipate a range of challenges and ensure the continuity of energy services for the public,” Mars Ega said in an official statement confirmed by ANTARA in Denpasar, Bali, on Thursday.
Mars Ega also said Pertamina was pursuing strategic partnerships with international partners to maintain continuity of supply and increase flexibility in responding to changes in global energy markets.
The efforts are supported by optimisation of distribution infrastructure, comprising 125 Fuel Terminals (FT) and Integrated Terminals (IT), 72 Aviation Fuel Terminals (AFT), 40 LPG Terminals (TLPG), eight floating fuel storage facilities and three floating LPG storage facilities.
This infrastructure supports energy distribution to regions across Indonesia, including areas with difficult geography and complex transport access.
Alongside strengthening supply and infrastructure, Pertamina Patra Niaga is continuing to improve operational readiness, reinforce coordination with stakeholders and optimise frontline services to ensure reliable energy distribution that meets public needs.
Mars Ega added that Pertamina Patra Niaga’s commitment was not only to ensure energy availability, but also to make sure energy was accessible to the public at affordable prices in accordance with regulations, while taking sustainability into account.
“For us, Availability, Accessibility, Acceptability, Affordability and Sustainability are the main principles in providing energy services.”
He stressed that these measures reflected Pertamina’s ongoing commitment, maintained through strengthening supply, improving operational readiness and optimising frontline services.
“We will continue to take anticipatory measures so that energy services for the public are maintained and people’s activities can proceed properly,” Mars Ega said.
