Pertamina steps up Bali fuel distribution with 24-hour operations
“We are accelerating the recovery of fuel services in Bali by strengthening tanker fleets, adding personnel, operating terminals around the clock and receiving fuel shipments,” Pertamina Patra Niaga Vice President of Corporate Communication Kitty Andhora said on Thursday.
The measures aim to speed deliveries to gas stations and ease queues in several parts of Bali, she said.
Pertamina Patra Niaga has deployed 108 tankers, including 99 standby units and nine hired on a spot-charter basis, Kitty said. The fleet is supported by 465 tanker crew members, comprising 365 standby personnel and 100 staff deployed from other regions.
“The additional vehicles and personnel are part of efforts to accelerate fuel deliveries from terminals to gas stations,” she said.
Fuel Terminal Sanggaran and Integrated Terminal Manggis are also operating 24 hours a day to maintain distribution flows. Fuel shipments have arrived at port, allowing the company to optimize fuel receipt and distribution according to local demand.
“These efforts aim to accelerate deliveries to gas stations, ease queues and improve public access to fuel services,” Kitty said.
To improve access, 66 gas stations in Denpasar and Badung are also operating around the clock, she said. The extended operating hours give residents more opportunities to refuel while supporting the recovery of services across the region.
Despite the accelerated distribution, Pertamina Patra Niaga continues to prioritize safety. All tanker crew members must undergo fitness-for-duty checks before starting work.
Work rotations are also in place to maintain staff stamina and prevent fatigue, helping ensure fuel deliveries remain safe.
Pertamina Patra Niaga is continuing to strengthen coordination and optimize its entire fuel distribution chain to support Bali’s recovery.
Residents can check the company’s official Instagram account for the East Java, Bali and Nusa Tenggara region, @pertaminabali, for information on gas stations before visiting.
“Through these measures, Pertamina Patra Niaga remains committed to optimizing fuel distribution to meet residents’ energy needs and sustain economic activity on the Island of the Gods,” Kitty said.
