PT Pertamina Patra Niaga continues to undertake various efforts to improve service quality for the public, ranging from upgrading SPBU facilities and strengthening fuel quality supervision to enhancing customer comfort.

In relation to circulating information regarding non-subsidised fuel prices, Pertamina Patra Niaga has emphasised that pricing is carried out according to the formula set by the Government and follows market price developments.

Vice President Corporate Communication of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Kitty Andhora, stated that improving service and product quality is the company’s commitment to delivering the best experience for customers. “We continuously strive to provide increasingly better services for the community. Through the Retail Make Over (RMO) programme, we are improving SPBU facilities to be more comfortable and modern. At the same time, we also ensure product quality is maintained so that the public can transact safely and comfortably,” Kitty said in a press release on Thursday (18/6/2026).

As part of these efforts, since 2023 Pertamina Patra Niaga has carried out Retail Make Over (RMO) at 1,920 SPBUs across various regions of Indonesia. This programme delivers facility updates and service comfort enhancements to provide a better experience for customers.

In addition to service improvements, Pertamina Patra Niaga also ensures that Pertamax quality remains in accordance with the specifications set by the Government, namely having a Research Octane Number (RON) of 92. Product quality is monitored regularly from the terminal, through the distribution process, until it is received by the public at SPBUs.

Furthermore, Kitty explained that the retail price setting for non-subsidised fuel follows the price formula established by the Government. “In principle, the retail price of non-subsidised fuel follows the price formula set by the Government and tracks market price developments. Price evaluations are normally conducted every month, unless there are other policies stipulated by the Government,” Kitty clarified.
