Pertamina SMEXPO 2026 to Involve 150 Supported MSMEs
PT Pertamina (Persero) has stated that the Pertamina SMEXPO 2026 event, which will be held in several cities across the country, will involve more than 150 mentored MSMEs.
Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility & Small and Medium Enterprise and Partnership Program (VP CSR & SMEPP) at Pertamina, Rudi Ariffianto, stated in Jakarta on Sunday that the inaugural event will take place in Pekanbaru, Riau, from 25–27 September 2026.
“Subsequently, it will be held in Yogyakarta, Cirebon, Bekasi, Jakarta, and other cities,” he said.
Organised annually since 2020, Pertamina SMEXPO encompasses digital marketing activities through the SMEXPO marketplace, thematic bazaars, business matching forums, as well as regional and national-scale MSME exhibitions. Each regional iteration of Pertamina SMEXPO involves at least 20 mentored MSMEs.
In addition to retail exhibitions, regional activities also bring participants together with potential corporate buyers through business-to-business (B2B) forums.
Rudi also noted that the Pertamina SMEXPO event is part of a development programme, connecting the business readiness of MSMEs with opportunities to reach both retail and corporate buyers.
“Our hope is that Pertamina SMEXPO can help MSMEs understand market and consumer needs, expand networks, and find larger business collaboration opportunities. Pertamina continues to consistently mentor MSMEs so they are increasingly prepared to reach wider markets,” said Rudi.
The peak of the Pertamina SMEXPO 2026 series will be held in Jakarta in mid-November 2026. This national exhibition will showcase various flagship creative products from dozens of mentored MSMEs from various regions across Indonesia.
VP of Corporate Communication at Pertamina, Muhammad Baron, added that holding Pertamina SMEXPO in various cities provides a broader opportunity for the public to become acquainted with the products of Pertamina Group’s mentored MSMEs.
“Behind every MSME product, there is an inspiring story of entrepreneurs who continue to learn and innovate. Through Pertamina SMEXPO, we hope more people will recognise and purchase their products and creative works,” said Baron.
Pertamina SMEXPO 2026 is organised through a collaboration between Pertamina, its subholdings, subsidiaries, and affiliated companies to support the development of local businesses. This programme aligns with the ‘Astacita’ initiative to encourage entrepreneurship and job creation, as well as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically Goal 8 regarding decent work and economic growth.
“Through this series of activities, Pertamina hopes that MSME development in various regions will become more connected to promotional opportunities, cooperation, and market access that help entrepreneurs expand their businesses,” Baron concluded.
