Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - PT Pertamina (Persero), through PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, officially opened the Pertamina Patra Niaga Infrastructure Downstream Experience (PINDEX) 2026 at ICE BSD Hall, Tangerang, on Wednesday (3/6/2026). This inaugural downstream engineering innovation event hosted by Pertamina Patra Niaga serves as a platform to showcase technologies, infrastructure, and innovations in the downstream energy sector, supporting national energy resilience and independence.
The President Director of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Mars Ega Legowo Putra, explained that PINDEX 2026 is designed as a collaborative forum, bringing together various parties to share knowledge and experience, creating added value for the national energy industry.
“Pindex is not just a forum for suppliers and buyers to meet, but it is a forum for sharing knowledge, exploring collaboration opportunities, and jointly creating value. Let us explore various development opportunities, starting from the reform of gas stations, more modern tanker truck concepts, fuel terminals that can be developed into blending facilities, to biorefinery technology, digitalisation, and artificial intelligence that are relevant to future operational needs,” said Mars Ega.
Meanwhile, the Director of Downstream Optimisation and Distribution at Pertamina Patra Niaga, Hari Purnomo, revealed that during the three-day event, it will feature 73 exhibitors from companies and brands in the technology sector, energy infrastructure, and strategic national and international partners, as well as serving as a conference and discussion space to strengthen collaboration and the adoption of reliable downstream technologies.
“Around 73 partners are present to collaborate and share the technologies they have. The technologies presented cover various aspects, from instrumentation, pipelines, tanker trucks, health, safety, security and environment (HSSE), to the maritime industry, especially those related to port facilities,” said Hari.
On the same occasion, the Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Roberth MV. Dumatubun, invited the public to attend PINDEX 2026 and gain insights into the development of future technologies in the energy sector.
“We invite the public to come to PINDEX and see firsthand how energy is distributed, the technologies used, and the various innovations that support daily energy services. In the future, Indonesia’s energy distribution will be the backbone that needs to be supported by modern and sophisticated technology, while also prioritising environmental aspects,” said Roberth.
Pindex 2026 will continue until June 5, 2026, at ICE BSD Hall 10, Tangerang, and is open to the public free of charge.
