Pertamina selects top 10 SMEs in 2025-2026 Pertapreneur Aggregator programme
State-owned oil and gas company PT Pertamina has selected the top 10 micro, small and medium enterprises in the Pertapreneur Aggregator 2025-2026 programme. Vice President of CSR and SMEPP Management at Pertamina, Rudi Ariffianto, said the ten top SMEs demonstrated superior business performance, measurable social impact and readiness to compete in the global market. The Pertapreneur Aggregator programme is an SME development initiative that cultivates business actors as aggregators—ecosystem drivers capable of opening market access, building collaboration and empowering other SMEs to grow and advance together. The programme shortlisted 100 top SMEs from 730 participants of the UMK Academy 2025 who passed the national stage in various regions across Indonesia. Through a process of screening, deep-dive interviews, bootcamps, mentoring, business acceleration, field visits, monitoring of objective key results and global market access, Pertamina selected the 10 champions deemed to have the best business capacity, impact and development potential. Based on an assessment of business performance, market access, aggregator impact, brand visibility and execution readiness, Novio Fresh claimed the title of PAG Integrated Market Access Champion, making it the overall best champion of the Pertapreneur Aggregator 2025-2026. Rendang Gadih and Imago Raw Honey secured second and third places respectively. Rudi said the Pertapreneur Aggregator event embodies Pertamina’s commitment to strengthening a people-based economy through SMEs that are innovative, sustainable and far-reaching in their impact. Throughout the programme, participants received assistance on aspects including business strategy, marketing, finance, ESG, digitalisation and market expansion. All champions also obtained business acceleration certification, assessor mentoring and an OKR-based monitoring dashboard to support more measurable business growth. In terms of impact, the programme recorded an average social return on investment of 2.21, meaning that every one rupiah invested generated 2.21 rupiah in social, economic and environmental benefits. To support business sustainability, Pertamina also distributed production facility grants worth Rp495 million, comprising Rp345 million for the 10 champions and Rp150 million for 20 semi-finalist SMEs. Additionally, Pertamina opened international market access through market insights and business matching with the Indonesian Trade Attachés in Malaysia and Brussels, Belgium. Vice President of Corporate Communication at Pertamina, Muhamad Baron, added that Pertapreneur Aggregator is part of Pertamina’s commitment to creating shared value through its social and environmental responsibility programme. He said the journey from 100 participants to the selection of the 10 champions proves that Indonesian SMEs have significant potential to grow and compete at the global level, and that Pertamina will continue to encourage the emergence of SMEs that are resilient, innovative and impactful for society.
