Pertamina Reveals Reason Behind Appointment of Deputy Investment Minister as Vice President Commissioner
PT Pertamina (Persero) has revealed the rationale behind the appointment of Deputy Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Todotua Pasaribu as Vice President Commissioner of Pertamina, replacing Dony Oskaria in the role.
The changes to Pertamina's board of commissioners and directors were made during the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) for the 2024 financial year, held on Thursday (12 June 2025).
Pertamina VP of Corporate Communication Fadjar Djoko Santoso said the decision was the authority and choice of the company's shareholders. He acknowledged that Todotua's appointment was linked to Danantara.
"If we look at it, Pak Todotua holds the position of Deputy Minister of Investment/BKPM, and Pak Rosan [Minister of Investment/Head of BKPM] also serves as CEO of Danantara. Automatically, Pak Todotua is one of the commissioner representatives from the government who is relevant to Pertamina," Fadjar told reporters, as quoted on Monday (16 June 2025).
However, Fadjar was unable to provide further explanation regarding the relevance of the new Vice President Commissioner's appointment to Danantara. What is certain, he said, is that the move was made because Pertamina's shareholders currently comprise the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises and Danantara.
When asked about Pertamina projects that would be supported by Danantara funding, Fadjar was also unable to elaborate, saying it was still too early. "Not yet — he has only just been appointed. We will provide updates later," he said.
Beyond restructuring the board of commissioners, Pertamina also reshuffled its board of directors at the AGMS. The meeting appointed Oki Muraza as Vice President Director, Jaffee Arizon Suardin as Director of Logistics and Infrastructure, Agung Wicaksono as Director of Transformation and Business Sustainability, and Andy Arvianto as Director of Human Resources.
Meanwhile, M. Erry Sugiharto, who previously served as Pertamina's Director of Human Resources, has been appointed Director of Business Support. The AGMS also appointed Nanik S. Deyang as Independent Commissioner.

7. Director of Business Support: M. Erry Sugiharto
8. Director of Transformation and Business Sustainability: Agung Wicaksono
9. Director of Human Resources: Andy Arvianto
