Pertamina, through PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, has responded to the possibility of adjusting prices for non-subsidiised fuel products Pertamax and Pertamax Green. Corporate Secretary of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, Roberth MV Dumatubun, stated that the company is still evaluating the proposal for price adjustments on these non-subsidiised fuels. “Still under evaluation,” said Roberth, quoted on Monday, 20 April 2026. Previously, Pertamina announced price increases for several non-subsidiised fuel products, including Pertamax Turbo, Dexlite, and Pertamina Dex, effective from Saturday, 18 April 2026. Roberth explained that these price adjustments are in line with regulations and have been coordinated, reported, and discussed with relevant stakeholders. Referring to Ministerial Decree (Kepmen) ESDM No. 245.K/MG.01/MEM.M/2022, as of 18 April 2026, Pertamina Patra Niaga has implemented new prices for non-subsidiised fuels: Pertamax Turbo, Pertamina Dex, and Dexlite. Previously, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Bahlil Lahadalia, stated that the price increase for non-subsidiised fuels like Pertamax Turbo follows market mechanisms in accordance with applicable regulations. He emphasised that government price controls only apply to subsidised fuels, while fuels for industrial needs and affluent consumers will adjust to market prices.
