Pertamina Patra Niaga has responded to the disruption in the distribution of Bio Solar and Pertalite fuel to 14 sub-distributors in East Flores, Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT). The issue was triggered by a blocked barcode code on the Microsite application, which prevented subsidised fuel from being scanned.

“We apologise for the inconvenience caused,” said Ahad Rahedi, Area Manager for Communication, Relations and Corporate Social Responsibility at Pertamina Patra Niaga Jatimbalinus region, when confirmed by detikBali on Monday 2 March 2026.

Rahedi stated that Pertamina Patra Niaga is currently undertaking a system adjustment. Pertamina, he explained, is committed to ensuring that the public continues to enjoy optimal fuel distribution services to support daily activities.

“System adjustment from the Microsite application to the X-Star application to improve service quality. In this process, we are also coordinating with BPH Migas so that this adjustment can be completed promptly and does not cause issues in the field,” Rahedi added.

The Head of Natural Resources at the East Flores Regional Secretariat, Tarsisius Kopong, was unable to confirm whether fuel distribution to sub-distributors in East Flores would proceed smoothly. He was also uncertain about the duration of the blocked barcode system.

“Not yet,” Tarsisius replied briefly on Monday.

Previously, the distribution of Bio Solar and Pertalite fuel to 14 sub-distributors in East Flores had stalled. This was not due to stock shortage, but rather due to the blocked barcode code on the Microsite application. However, Tarsisius emphasised that general fuel distribution continued to operate.

“Distribution is continuing. We are only awaiting a response from BPH Migas regarding a letter from the East Flores Regional Government. The Regional Government has already issued recommendations for 14 sub-distributors, but they cannot be scanned by barcode due to the Microsite application access issue at petrol stations,” Tarsisius said on Friday 27 February.

Tarsisius explained that fuel services to the public through petrol stations remained normal. Subsidised fuel stock was also available and in sufficient quantities. According to him, the issue only affected distribution to the 14 sub-distributors, specifically for Bio Solar and Pertalite.

This means that non-subsidised fuel such as Pertamax and Pertadex could still be purchased without any obstacles. “Only subsidised fuel (Solar and Pertalite). Whilst non-subsidised fuel can be purchased freely,” he added.
