Pertamina reports 94 per cent of petrol stations have distributed B50
The President Director of Pertamina Patra Niages, Mars Ega Legowo Putra, stated that as of 5 September 2026, 6,050 petrol stations, or 94 per cent of the total 6,412 stations, have distributed the B50 biodiesel mandate.
“There are still 362 petrol stations that have not yet distributed B50 because they are still supplying B40,” Ega said in Jakarta on Tuesday during a Hearing with Commission XII of the House of Representatives (DPR).
Ega noted that according to reports from Marketing Operation Regions (MOR) across eight territories, the average distribution of B50 is above 90 per cent, with only one MOR, located in Maluku and Papua, at 65 per cent.
“In Maluku and Papua, we are still exhausting B40 stocks, as there is still a significant amount remaining,” he said.
Regarding Pertamina’s 121 fuel terminals, Ega mentioned that only one terminal has yet to distribute B50, which is the Sintang Fuel Terminal in West Kalimantan, due to river shallowing.
“The one fuel terminal in Sintang cannot yet distribute B50 due to weather factors, specifically the shrinking of the river,” he added.
He ensured that the implementation of the B50 mandate is proceeding well overall, and customer complaints have not been significant. In fact, he noted an increase in the sale of subsidised biosolar following the price hike for non-subsidised diesel.
“Up to this point, there have been no significant complaints,” he added.
