Pertamina Reaffirms Commitment to Monitoring Fuel Distribution in Jambi

Pertamina Patra Niaga is responding to information circulating on social media regarding alleged violations involving fuel tankers in the Jambi region. The company, through its Sumbagsel Regional office together with PT Elnusa Petrofin as the transporter, has conducted a thorough internal verification and investigation.

Based on initial inspection results, as a form of commitment to enforcing regulations and maintaining energy distribution integrity, the Tanker Crew Members (AMT) involved have been subject to termination of employment by the transportation company, and the case has also been reported to the police for processing in accordance with applicable legal provisions.

Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Roberth MV Dumatubun, affirmed that Pertamina Patra Niaga is committed to maintaining the integrity of national energy distribution and does not tolerate any form of violation in the fuel distribution chain.

“Pertamina Patra Niaga is committed to carrying out fuel distribution transparently, accountably, and in accordance with applicable regulations. Every indication of a violation will be followed up with a thorough investigation process, and if violations are proven, strict sanctions will be given in accordance with company provisions and applicable laws,” Roberth said in a press release on Sunday (17/5/2026).

He added that Pertamina Patra Niaga continues to strengthen the fuel distribution monitoring system throughout its operational areas through operational monitoring, periodic evaluations of business partners, and strengthening synergy with Law Enforcement Agencies (APH) and related stakeholders.

“Public trust is the top priority for Pertamina Patra Niaga. Therefore, we continue to improve supervision and ensure that energy distribution to the community runs safely and reaches the intended targets,” he added.
