Pertamina Berkah was held simultaneously across various regions in Indonesia on Friday (19/6/2026). The activity, coinciding with the month of Muharram, featured communal prayers and the distribution of aid to 17,300 beneficiaries from 610 foundations and social institutions located near the company’s operational areas. This initiative is part of PT Pertamina (Persero)’s commitment to not only serve as an energy provider for the nation but also to grow alongside the community through concrete actions that bring benefits and happiness.

VP Corporate Communication of PT Pertamina (Persero), Muhammad Baron, stated that Pertamina Berkah represents the company’s care for the community and serves as a moment to strengthen relationships with the surrounding environment. “We believe that energy not only drives activity but can also bring hope and happiness. Through Pertamina Berkah, we want to share happiness with orphans, the underprivileged, and persons with disabilities, while reinforcing the spirit of togetherness and social care,” Baron said in a statement cited on Saturday (20/6/2026).

He noted that a company’s success is measured not only by business performance but also by the benefits felt by the community. “Behind every Pertamina achievement, there is a social responsibility that must be continuously upheld. We hope this aid can help meet the children’s needs and serve as encouragement for them to keep learning, growing, and daring to pursue their dreams,” he explained.

The Pertamina Berkah programme is part of the company’s ongoing implementation of Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL). The activity was carried out simultaneously, involving all of Pertamina’s Subholdings and Subsidiaries across various regions of Indonesia, so that its benefits can be felt more widely.

Baron added that the prayers and happiness radiating from the children’s faces motivate Pertamina to continue delivering social programmes with tangible impact. “For us, their prayers and smiles are invaluable positive energy. May this togetherness bring blessings to all parties and further strengthen the spirit of mutual cooperation in building a better Indonesia,” he said.

One beneficiary, Sri Hartini, Manager of the Putra Utama 1 Klender Child Social Care Home, expressed appreciation for Pertamina’s care for the children at the home. “We thank Pertamina for the attention and assistance provided. This aid is very meaningful for the children at the home and is fully utilised to meet their needs. We hope Pertamina continues to progress, succeed, and keep sharing benefits with the community,” said Sri Hartini.

Through Pertamina Berkah, Pertamina continues to strengthen its commitment to growing together with the community, delivering not only energy for the nation but also hope, care, and happiness for those in need.
