Pertamina Patra Niaga is preparing avtur supplies to support the smooth operation of Hajj flights in 2026, including in the Central Java and Special Region of Yogyakarta areas. The total supply prepared for these two embarkation regions reaches 9,614 kilolitres (KL).

The two embarkations in question are at Adi Soemarmo Airport and Yogyakarta International Airport. Nationally, Pertamina is preparing more than 80,000 KL of avtur to meet the needs of Hajj flights at 14 embarkation points.

Hajj flight services this year are divided into two phases: the first phase from 22 April to 21 May 2026 and the second phase from 1 to 30 June 2026. During this period, the company ensures operational readiness and the reliability of fuel supplies at all service points.

Area Manager for Communication, Relations, and CSR in the Central Java Region of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Taufiq Kurniawan, stated that this readiness is supported by an integrated supply chain system from upstream to downstream.

“Pertamina ensures the reliability of avtur supply at all Hajj flight service points through an integrated supply chain system. We do this to guarantee the smooth operation of Hajj flights in a safe, timely manner, and in accordance with service standards,” he told reporters on Monday, 27 April 2026.

For the embarkation at Adi Soemarmo Airport, the avtur requirement during the Hajj period is projected to reach around 6,000 KL. This figure is down about 16 percent from the previous year, in line with the reduction in the number of flight groups (kloter) from 188 kloter in 2025 to 160 kloter in 2026.

Meanwhile, Yogyakarta International Airport is a new embarkation for this year’s Hajj organisation. Pertamina is preparing a supply of around 3,614 KL of avtur to serve 52 kloter departing via that airport. Operationally, Pertamina is also optimising a digital system through Pertamina Aviation Fuel Delivery Management (PADMA).

“This system enables real-time monitoring of the fuelling process up to transaction validation, thereby increasing transparency and efficiency in avtur distribution,” said Taufiq.

The distribution serves Hajj organising airlines, including Garuda Indonesia and Saudia Airlines. According to Taufiq, the implementation of this digital system also strengthens the principles of good corporate governance and service accountability.

“This energy supply readiness is part of Pertamina’s strategic role in supporting the smooth pilgrimage of Indonesian society, while also ensuring the presence of the state through reliable energy services,” he said.
