Pertamina Patra Niaga Wins Emission Reduction Transparency Award 2026

Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has won an award at The Best Corporate Emission Reduction Transparency Awards 2026, recognised for delivering transparency in the management and reduction of emissions in a measurable and sustainable manner. Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Roberth MV Dumatubun, stated in Jakarta on Saturday that this award serves as motivation for the company to further strengthen its commitment to emission reduction and transparency in its management. As part of Pertamina’s Downstream Subholding, Pertamina Patra Niaga continues to introduce various initiatives to curb emissions through the development of more environmentally friendly products and operations. “The emission reduction efforts we undertake are realised through various initiatives,” he said. These initiatives range from the development of Pertamax Green 95, Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) or Pertamina Renewable Diesel through the Cilacap Green Refinery, to the use of Very Low Sulphur Fuel Oil (VLSFO). “This forms part of our commitment to delivering cleaner energy while preserving environmental sustainability,” he added. Roberth further noted that this award also serves as a reflection that the company’s transformation steps towards providing cleaner and more transparent energy are on the right track, and it provides tangible contributions to environmental sustainability and the national energy future. “This award provides evidence that Pertamina Patra Niaga plays a role in supporting sustainability and emission reduction. Not only through operational processes, but also through environmentally friendly products,” he explained.
