Pertamina Patra Niaga wins CSR Awards 2026 for disaster response
PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has received the Impact Commitment Award at the Investortrust CSR Awards 2026 in recognition of its presence during natural disasters affecting several regions across the country.
Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Roberth MV Dumatubun, said in a statement in Jakarta on Saturday that the company’s corporate social and environmental responsibility (CSR) programmes vary widely, ranging from economic empowerment and strengthening, capacity building, to support for communities affected by natural disasters.
“Every programme is carried out so that its benefits can be felt and continue to be sustained,” he said when representing the company to receive the award in Jakarta on Thursday (27/6/2026).
According to him, the award serves as a spur for Pertamina Patra Niaga.
“We are always committed to being one of the companies under the Pertamina Group operating in the energy sector and also committed to implementing CSR, particularly in Indonesia,” he said.
Roberth added that Pertamina Patra Niaga’s support for communities facing disasters includes meeting basic needs and assisting the recovery process of affected communities.
“During the disaster in northern Sumatra, we not only provided assistance from the energy side, but also helped meet the basic needs of local communities, medical treatment, basic food supplies, and others. We did the same during the earthquake disaster in NTT, including providing psychological first aid to affected communities, previously known as trauma healing,” he added.
During the disaster in NTT, the Pertamina Patra Niaga team also reached remote areas of East Manggarai, namely Watu Hedok Hamlet.
Meanwhile, in handling forest and land fires (karhutla) in Kalimantan and Sumatra, assistance in the form of masks, firefighting equipment, clean water, vitamins, and health packages was distributed to affected communities and volunteers.
On the occasion, Investortrust CEO Primus Dorimulu, as the organiser of the CSR Awards, explained that the award prioritises proof of impact as one of the distinguishing factors in assessing corporate CSR implementation.
“It is no longer about the number of programmes carried out or how much funding was spent, but rather the real change produced, who benefits, how significant the impact is, how that impact is demonstrated, and whether the change can be sustained,” he said.
