Pertamina Patra Niaga Task Force Secures Fuel Supply
The Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr Task Force of Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional North Sumatra is securing the supply and distribution of fuel oil (BBM), LPG or elpiji, and Avtur across all operational areas during the period from 9 March to 1 April 2026.
To support the smooth delivery of energy services, there are 296 24-hour alert SPBU, 946 alert LPG agents, 14 fuel service points and alert Pertamina kiosks, as well as 35 standby tanker trucks to strengthen distribution, particularly on strategic routes with potential increases in public mobility and consumption.
Executive General Manager of Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional North Sumatra, Sunardi, stated that additional services are in place during the Task Force period, including 11 MyPertamina Serambi points equipped with 11 ambulances, 37 Motorist BBM units, and 309 Pertamina Delivery Service (PDS) LPG units.
“Stock resilience is very secure. Ship schedules arriving at the depot are from 16 March to 23 April. The position is above average coverage days, meaning it’s good,” said Sunardi at the Bright Gas Auditorium, Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional North Sumatra office, on Thursday, 19 March 2026.

To support the aviation transport sector, stock build-up of Avtur has been carried out at several Aviation Fuel Terminals. Sunardi said that Avtur availability is projected to anticipate an increase in demand estimated to be more than 10 percent compared to normal conditions.
Through this Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr Task Force, Pertamina ensures that all energy distribution facilities and infrastructure are in optimal condition to serve public needs. Appreciating all stakeholders supporting the smooth distribution of energy to the public.
Area Manager for Communication, Relations & CSR of Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional North Sumatra, Fahrougi Andriani Sumampouw, added that the available fuel stock at the Medan Group Fuel Terminal is around 56.5 million litres, consisting of 33.5 million litres of gasoline products and the rest gasoil products.
“In addition to that stock, there is an addition brought by the ship MT Queen Majesty/Senipah of 31.8 million litres of Pertalite products. We ensure that fuel stock availability for the Medan area and surroundings remains maintained. Distribution from the Fuel Terminal to all SPBU is running normally,” she said.
In addition to fuel, Pertamina Patra Niaga also ensures sufficient LPG availability for the North Sumatra region. Based on operational data from the Pangkalansusu LPG Terminal, LPG stock reaches 7,200 metric tons.
Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional North Sumatra continues to monitor fuel and LPG stocks and distribution across all operational areas to ensure energy services to the public remain optimal.
