Pertamina Patra Niaga-Supported MSMEs Capture Attention at IFW 2026
JAKARTA – A total of 11 micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) supported by PT Pertamina Patra Niaga showcased their products at Indonesia Fashion Week (IFW) 2026, held at the Jakarta Convention Centre (JCC) from 29 July to 2 August 2026. This participation serves as an effort to expand market access for local fashion and craft products.
One of the IFW 2026 visitors, Tia Nyono, expressed interest in visiting the Pertamina Patra Niarga booth after seeing a pearl craft collection from the brand Vite. She ultimately purchased a silver ring adorned with pearls after browsing the various products on display. “When I arrived at Indonesia Fashion Week, my attention was immediately drawn to the Pertamina Patra Niaga booth because it featured excellent works from local MSMEs that I had never seen anywhere else,” said Tia.
Another visitor, Lisa, chose to purchase clothing produced by the MSME Narita Shibori. She noted that the presence of fashion products at the Pertamina Patra Niaga booth was an unexpected experience. “I was wondering what the connection was between Pertamina and fashion. It turns out this is part of Pertamina Patra Niaga’s CSR programme. It is extraordinary; I am very happy and fully support this,” she said.
Vite and Narita Shibori are two of the 11 MSMEs supported by Pertamina Patra Niaga participating in IFW 2026 through the Community Involvement & Development (CID) programme. Vite produces handmade silver crafts with a purity level of 92.5 per cent, with products already exported to Algeria, Panama, and Malta. Meanwhile, Narita Shibori develops fashion products by involving children with special needs from Rumah Hasanah Bandung and SLB Negeri 4 Jakarta in their production process.
Other Pertamina Patra Niaga-supported MSMEs participating in IFW 2026 include Dara Baro, Guns Leather, Ramiza Boutique, Meeta Fauzan, Dimas Batik, UD Tenun Sumber Rejeki, Jokotole, Besolek, and Mahacinta Jewelry. These entrepreneurs hail from operational regions including West Java, East Java, Bali, Nusa Tenggara, South Sumatra, and North Sumatra.
VP of Corporate Communication at Pertamina Patra Niaga, Kitty Andhora, stated that the participation of these MSMEs in IFW 2026 aims to introduce local craft and fashion products to a wider market. “MSMEs are the backbone of the Indonesian economy. As a main pillar of national economic resilience, MSMEs not only absorb labour but also serve as drivers of creativity and local wisdom. Recognising this strategic role, Pertamina Patra Niaga will continue to support the empowerment of local entrepreneurs across the country,” said Kitty. According to Kitty, participation in IFW 2026 is expected to open greater opportunities for supported MSMEs to expand their markets, including to the international level.
