Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagut continues to strengthen terminal operations in Aceh as part of efforts to accelerate the normalisation of fuel distribution. Various optimisation measures are being carried out at the Lhokseumawe Integrated Terminal (IT) and the Krueng Raya Fuel Terminal (FT) to ensure the public’s energy needs remain met.

Fahrougi Andriani Sumampouw, Area Manager for Communication, Relations & CSR at Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagut, said that reinforcing terminal operations is one of the strategic steps to improve fuel distribution reliability in Aceh, especially amid high public demand.

“We continue to optimise terminal operations as the backbone of fuel distribution in Aceh. Various acceleration measures are being taken so that the delivery process becomes more effective, ensuring the public’s energy needs are met properly and the distribution situation on the ground continues to show improvement,” said Fahrougi.

As part of this optimisation, the Lhokseumawe Integrated Terminal and the Krueng Raya Fuel Terminal have increased fuel delivery operating hours from an average of 8 hours to 14 hours per day, including additional operations on Sundays. In addition, Pertamina has also raised the frequency of tanker truck dispatches by around 65 per cent to accelerate fuel deliveries to petrol stations and other distribution institutions across various parts of Aceh.

Further efforts include adjusting distribution patterns so that fuel supplies can reach areas in need more quickly. Since 12 July 2026, the Lhokseumawe Integrated Terminal has also supplied fuel to the Langsa and East Aceh regions, with an average delivery volume of 48,000 litres per day. Meanwhile, for the Bireuen and Pidie regions, Pertamina is optimising collaborative distribution between the Lhokseumawe Integrated Terminal and the Krueng Raya Fuel Terminal, so that fuel deliveries can proceed more quickly, evenly and reliably.

According to Fahrougi, synergy between terminals is one of the keys to maintaining smooth fuel distribution in Aceh. By optimising each terminal’s operational capacity, Pertamina can adjust distribution patterns more flexibly according to conditions on the ground.

“We continue to strengthen coordination and synergy between terminals so that the distribution process can be more responsive to the dynamics of public demand. With the support of all our operational infrastructure, Pertamina is optimistic that the normalisation of fuel distribution in Aceh will continue to show increasingly positive progress,” added Fahrougi.

Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagut also continues to monitor fuel stocks and deliveries throughout Aceh, while strengthening coordination with regional governments, security forces, Hiswana Migas and all stakeholders. These measures are taken to ensure energy distribution continues to run optimally.

The public is urged to remain calm and purchase fuel according to their needs. Pertamina is committed to maintaining supply reliability and providing the best service so that the energy needs of the people of Aceh continue to be met.
