Pertamina Patra Niaga Strengthens HSSE Implementation for LPG in Lampung

PT Pertamina Patra Niaga is reinforcing the implementation of health, safety, security, and environment (HSSE) aspects through operational inspections at several LPG distribution facilities and a cylinder maintenance workshop in Lampung. “To strengthen HSSE implementation, we conducted inspections at the SPBE of PT Sinar Samudra Marina, SPBE of PT Mitra Perkasa Energas, and the LPG Cylinder Maintenance Workshop of PT Karya Lampung Servindo,” said Area Manager HSSE for Sumbagsel Region, Aris Sinta, in a statement received in Bandarlampung on Wednesday. He stated that the inspection aims to ensure all operational, occupational safety, security, and environmental protection aspects are carried out according to applicable standards and regulations. “Pertamina Patra Niaga HSSE examined facility conditions, implementation of operational procedures, personnel readiness, occupational safety aspects, and potential risks that could affect operational smoothness or cause environmental impacts,” he said. Aris noted that this inspection is part of the company’s continuous efforts to ensure all operational partners conduct activities in line with established HSSE standards. “The unannounced inspection was carried out to observe the implementation of operational standards. Through this activity, the inspection team can identify conditions that still require improvement or potential substandard practices that need immediate follow-up,” he said. He added that the inspection results will serve as input for facility managers to enhance occupational safety, prevent workplace accidents, and minimise potential environmental pollution. “This activity is part of the company’s commitment to maintaining operational reliability and ensuring that LPG distribution to the public runs safely and smoothly,” he said. Meanwhile, Area Manager for Communication, Relations and CSR of Pertamina Patra Niaga Sumbagsel Region, Rusminto Wahyudi, said that through this inspection, the company wants to ensure all facilities supporting LPG distribution in the Lampung region consistently meet HSSE standards. “Thus, the energy distribution process to the public can proceed safely, reliably, and sustainably. Pertamina Patra Niaga will continue to conduct ongoing supervision and guidance for all operational partners to foster a strong HSSE culture and support operational excellence throughout the energy distribution chain,” he said.
