PT Pertamina Patra Niaga is strengthening the distribution of fuel oil to ensure the public’s energy needs are met throughout the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. VP Corporate Communication of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Kitty Andhora, stated that nationally, the fuel supply at the company’s fuel terminals is available and sufficient. ‘Pertamina Patra Niaga continuously monitors fuel supply and distribution conditions in real time across all operational areas. Nationally, stocks are available, and we continue to optimise distribution so that public needs can be properly met,’ she said in a statement in Jakarta on Saturday. Kitty explained that the occurrence of queues is not due to limited stock, as Pertamina Patra Niaga has been distributing both gasoline and gasoil products above the average requirement. According to her, various operational measures are being taken to anticipate dynamics in regions experiencing increased demand. These measures include operating fuel terminals 24 hours a day in high-demand areas to ensure the process of receiving, preparing, and distributing fuel runs without interruption. ‘We are also strengthening the tanker truck fleet in areas with increased needs to accelerate distribution to petrol stations,’ she said. Additionally, Pertamina is adjusting the operational patterns of tanker trucks so that deliveries are made earlier, ensuring fuel supplies arrive at petrol stations before the start of public activities in the morning. Kitty added that the company is also coordinating with station managers and local authorities to manage vehicle entry lanes at petrol stations to maintain smooth public access and traffic flow. Furthermore, continuous monitoring of supply patterns is being carried out, including implementing regular, alternative, and emergency supply patterns tailored to the conditions in each region. Beyond ensuring supply availability, Kitty said Pertamina Patra Niaga urges the public to use fuel wisely according to their needs and to purchase products as intended. The public is also advised not to make excessive purchases as distribution continues to run. ‘We continue to optimise distribution in all regions, especially in areas experiencing increased demand. We invite the public to remain calm, purchase fuel according to their needs, and together support targeted fuel distribution so that the energy needs of the entire community can continue to be met,’ said Kitty.
