Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional JBB Readies and Ensures Fuel Stocks During Ramadan and Eid 2026
Through the Ramadan and Eid (RAFI) 2026 Task Force, PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Jawa Bagian Barat (JBB) has ensured operational readiness to guarantee smooth distribution and energy availability for the public during the RAFI period. This readiness includes the provision of fuel, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), and aviation fuel (Avtur) supplies as public mobility increases during the exodus and return journeys for Eid celebrations.
As a demonstration of its commitment to maintaining reliable energy services, Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional JBB is operating various energy facilities and infrastructure. Hundreds of fuel service stations are placed on standby 24 hours, supported by backup fuel tankers, packaged fuel services, modular fuel stations, and Kiosk Pertamina Siaga positioned along toll routes and high-density locations.
Sales Area Manager (SAM) Retail Karawang Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional JBB, Ancala Egah, stated that based on historical projections, the Regional JBB area expects a surge in demand for petrol of 9.6% above normal conditions due to increased vehicle journeys during the exodus period. In contrast, diesel demand is expected to decline by 27.3% due to a joint ministerial and police decision on traffic and crossing regulations during the exodus and return journeys for the 2026 Eid celebrations.
“LPG is projected to increase by 2.86% and Avtur by 0.5% compared to normal conditions. Nevertheless, the energy stock situation in the Regional JBB area is assured to be safe and sufficient,” he said.
Ancala emphasised Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional JBB’s readiness in providing various additional services to ensure smooth energy distribution along major toll routes during the exodus and return journeys for Eid, particularly at critical points from Jakarta–Cikampek to Cipali.
“We have prepared 1,620 fuel service stations, 439 Pertashop outlets, 2,331 LPG agents and 206 electric vehicle charging stations. To support service continuity during the exodus period, we are also activating 427 24-hour fuel service stations, 18 fuel distribution points and Kiosk Pertamina Siaga, 52 motorist/fuel service points, 62 standby fuel tankers, and 12 MyPertamina Lounge facilities along toll routes, tourist routes, and main transit routes. Additionally, we are offering a discount promotion of Rp15,000 on Pertamax and Dex Series purchases through the MyPertamina application from 13–31 March 2026,” he said.
Energy observer Sofyano Zakaria commended Pertamina’s readiness for the RAFI period, noting that the establishment of the task force represents a consistent annual effort. The implementation of the RAFI task force by Pertamina is not a new activity but rather a routine agenda executed each year and continuously evaluated to improve public services.
“Given the various preparations that have been made, we appreciate and hope that going forward Pertamina can continue to improve services and provide more facilities for people using Pertamina products,” he explained.
Area Manager for Communication, Relations and Corporate Social Responsibility at PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional JBB, Susanto August Satria, stated that the readiness of energy infrastructure and supporting services during the 2026 RAFI task force period has been assured to maintain smooth energy distribution to the public. With the various preparations and additional services provided by Pertamina, the public need not worry or engage in panic buying.
“Use fuel according to your actual needs because the energy supplies we will distribute are assured to remain available. Additionally, there are free MyPertamina Lounge services and promotions that the public can enjoy when travelling comfortably,” he stressed.
Susanto added that Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional JBB remains committed to strengthening coordination with local authorities, security forces, and business partners to anticipate increased energy consumption and ensure continuous distribution of fuel, LPG, and aviation fuel throughout the 2026 RAFI period.
As mid-March 2026 approaches, ensuring fuel distribution has become a vital instrument in maintaining national stability during the 1447 Hijri Eid exodus period.
