Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional JBB Ensures BBM and LPG Supply During Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr
Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional West Java (JBB) has guaranteed the security of BBM and LPG supply and smooth distribution for the regions of Banten Province, the Special Capital Region of Jakarta (DKI Jakarta) and West Java. In addition, Pertamina Patra Niaga has formed the Task Force for Energy Supply Control and Monitoring during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr (RAFI) 2026.
Area Manager for Communications, Relations & CSR, Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional JBB, Susanto August Satria, said yesterday that BBM and LPG stocks are currently in a safe condition and that all infrastructure has been stood by to meet the public’s energy needs.
“We reiterate that the BBM and LPG stocks in the West Java region and surrounding areas are at a safe level. We have also built up stock or increased energy supply reserves at several distribution points to anticipate potential increases in demand during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr,” he said.
Satria added that Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional JBB anticipates potential demand increases by implementing the Regular, Alternative and Emergency (RAE) method in managing the BBM and LPG supply chain and distribution to West Java and surrounding areas, ensuring that BBM and LPG distribution can proceed normally and sustainably.
“We have a range of mitigation steps to ensure supply resilience remains maintained and to operate an energy management system that is integrated, from crude oil and fuel procurement, processing at the refinery, transportation, to distribution to the public so that energy resilience remains safeguarded,” he said.
According to Satria, during the Ramadan and Idul Fitri task force period, Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional JBB has added extra services ranging from 24-hour SPBU to introducing Mini Serambi MyPertamina at nine SPBU locations frequently used by travellers.
He also urged the public to stay calm and not engage in panic buying or hoarding. And to use BBM and LPG according to their designated purpose, so that energy distribution runs accurately and measurably.
“We urge the public to stay calm and avoid buying excessively, as we will continue to safeguard energy supplies to ensure they remain available and properly distributed to the public,” he concluded.
In addition, Satria said Pertamina also opens a communication channel for the public to submit complaints or information related to services via Pertamina Call Center (PCC) 135.
