Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional JBB Assists Fire-Affected Residents at SPBE Cimuning

PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Jawa Bagian Barat (JBB), through the Pertamina Peduli programme, has quickly distributed aid to residents affected by the fire at the SPBE of PT Indogas Andalan Kita in Cimuning, which occurred on Wednesday (1/4). Fifty households (KK), or around 150 people, in Cimuning Ward, Mustika Jaya Subdistrict, particularly in RT 01 and RT 02 areas, were impacted and are currently at the evacuation post. Pertamina promptly conducted an assessment and provided aid to ensure the basic needs of the residents are met. Area Manager for Communications, Relations & CSR at Regional JBB Pertamina Patra Niaga, Susanto August Satria, stated that the aid includes a community kitchen with logistical support for 50 KK from 4–12 April 2026, two portable MCK (bathing, washing, toilet) units, and mineral water support. Pertamina also distributed blankets to burn victims receiving hospital treatment. “In the initial phase, ready-to-eat meals were distributed on Saturday (4/4), with 150 meal packages each. Subsequently, residents’ consumption needs will be fulfilled through a community kitchen managed jointly with the Bekasi City Disaster Response Youth Team (Tagana),” he explained. Satria added that, besides handling at the post, Pertamina is preparing to distribute grocery aid packages to affected communities around the site, totaling around 400 KK. The implementation of this aid activity is carried out through coordination and collaboration with the Bekasi City Social Service (Dinsos) and Cimuning Ward officials to ensure the aid reaches the right targets and meets the needs of the affected residents. “This aid is a form of Pertamina’s rapid response in emergency conditions. Through the Pertamina Peduli programme, we strive to help alleviate the burden on affected communities, especially in meeting basic needs during the emergency response period,” he said. Satria noted that this activity represents the commitment of Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional JBB to continue being present and supporting the recovery of affected communities.
