Pertamina Patra Niaga North Sumatra Region Adds 3.2 Million Cylinders to Strengthen Supply Ahead of Eid al-Fitr
Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumatera Bagian Utara (Sumbagut) is preparing additional supplies of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) to ensure that the community’s energy needs are met during the Ramadan period up to Eid al-Fitr 2026. As a precautionary measure against the increase in LPG consumption ahead of Eid al-Fitr, Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagut is adding 3,263,680 cylinders of LPG from H-7 to the day of Eid al-Fitr. This addition is equivalent to an average daily supply increase of 407,960 cylinders per day, or about 12 per cent higher than normal daily distribution, which is allocated to various work areas of Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagut to ensure that the community’s LPG needs remain fulfilled during the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr moments. For the Aceh region, the additional LPG supply from H-7 to the day of Eid al-Fitr reaches 353,920 cylinders, with an average daily addition of around 58,987 cylinders or about 12 per cent of normal daily distribution. In the North Sumatra region, the additional LPG supply reaches 1,461,040 cylinders, with an average daily addition of around 182,630 cylinders or about 10 per cent of normal daily distribution. Meanwhile, in the West Sumatra region, the additional LPG supply reaches 614,880 cylinders, with an average daily addition of around 76,860 cylinders or about 12 per cent of normal daily distribution. For the Riau region, the additional LPG supply reaches 641,760 cylinders, with an average daily addition of around 91,680 cylinders or about 6 per cent of normal daily distribution. Whereas in the Riau Islands region, the additional LPG supply reaches 192,080 cylinders, with an average daily addition of around 32,013 cylinders to ensure that community needs remain fulfilled ahead of Eid al-Fitr. Executive General Manager of Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagut, Sunardi, stated that this additional supply is part of Pertamina’s commitment to ensuring that the community can carry out Ramadan worship and celebrate Eid al-Fitr comfortably. “This additional LPG supply is our effort to ensure that the community’s energy needs remain fulfilled during Ramadan up to Eid al-Fitr. Pertamina is committed to presenting a comfortable Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr moment for the community by ensuring smooth energy distribution.
