Pertamina Patra Niaga lowers Bright Gas LPG prices effective 15 August
PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has lowered the price of its non-subsidised LPG product, Bright Gas, effective from 15 August 2026.
VP Corporate Communication of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Kitty Andhora, said in a statement in Jakarta on Saturday that the Bright Gas price adjustment is part of the company’s periodic evaluation to provide competitive non-subsidised LPG products for the public.
“The Bright Gas price adjustment is carried out through periodic evaluation, taking into account various factors affecting market conditions, while still referring to the applicable mechanism,” she said.
Through this evaluation, according to Kitty, the price of Bright Gas in 12 kg cylinders has decreased from Rp220,000 per cylinder to Rp218,000 per cylinder, or a reduction of Rp2,000 per cylinder.
Meanwhile, the price of Bright Gas LPG in 5.5 kg cylinders has fallen from Rp103,000 per cylinder to Rp102,000 per cylinder, or a reduction of Rp1,000 per cylinder.
These prices are the selling prices for Bright Gas agents in the Java region, effective from 15 August 2026. Prices in other regions may differ according to applicable regulations.
“In addition to offering more competitive prices, we also continue to ensure that the quality of Bright Gas is maintained, so that the public can enjoy LPG that is safe, practical, and of high quality to meet household needs,” Kitty explained.
Furthermore, Kitty explained that in the period 15-23 August 2026, Pertamina Patra Niaga is also presenting the Semarak Merdeka MyPertamina discount programme.
The programme applies to purchases of Bright Gas 5.5 kg and Bright Gas 12 kg refills directly at Bright Store and online purchases on the Klik Indomaret app and website with no minimum purchase using all payment methods.
“During the promo period, consumers who purchase Bright Gas 5.5 kg refills will receive a discount of Rp4,050 per cylinder, while purchases of Bright Gas 12 kg refills will receive a discount of Rp8,100 per cylinder,” Kitty explained.
