JAKARTA – Pertamina Patra Niaga has launched the Free Homecoming Programme Together with MyPertamina for online motorcycle taxi (ojol) driver partners as a gesture of appreciation to those who have become part of the loyal customer ecosystem for MyPertamina products and services. The programme forms part of Pertamina’s broader Homecoming Together initiative ahead of Eid al-Fitr celebrations.

Participants departed on Saturday, 15 March, from Keong Mas Plaza at the Indonesian Mini-Replica Park in Jakarta, heading to several cities in Central and East Java. Roberth MV Dumatubun, Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, stated that the programme was designed to give online motorcycle taxi driver partners the opportunity to return to their hometowns safely and comfortably.

“The Free Homecoming Programme Together with MyPertamina is a form of appreciation for online motorcycle taxi driver partners who have consistently been part of the loyal customer ecosystem for MyPertamina products and services,” Roberth said.

He added that Pertamina Patra Niaga wished to ensure that driver partners could also enjoy moments of togetherness with their families during Eid.

“We want our driver partners to experience the joy of gathering with family in their hometowns during the Eid al-Fitr celebrations,” he continued.

This year, Pertamina Patra Niaga has prepared several travel routes to various cities, including Pekalongan, Kendal, Semarang, Surakarta, Wonogiri, Kebumen, and Surabaya.

“With the available routes, we hope that programme participants can reach various destinations with safer and more comfortable travel,” Roberth explained.

Several participants in the Free Homecoming Programme Together with MyPertamina expressed their gratitude for the initiative, particularly online motorcycle taxi drivers and their families who wished to return to their hometowns during Eid.

Hendri, an online motorcycle taxi driver travelling with his family to Kebumen, said: “Alhamdulillah, this programme has been extremely helpful for my family. I learned about it from a friend who sent me the registration link, and the process was very straightforward. I am travelling with my family—four of us in total—to Kebumen.”

Instanto, who travelled with his wife and two children to Wonogiri, also expressed his appreciation for the initiative.

“This free homecoming programme from MyPertamina is truly remarkable and has genuinely helped us who wanted to return home. Especially during Eid, ticket prices can increase several times over,” Instanto said.

Listiawati, a housewife whose husband works as an online motorcycle taxi driver, also praised the programme. She and her family were planning to travel to Semarang and felt the initiative significantly reduced their travel costs.

“We are very happy and grateful. If we were to use our own funds for the trip, the costs for going and returning would be quite substantial. This programme has been tremendously helpful to us,” Listiawati said.

Didik Prasojo, who was travelling with his family to Surabaya, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to participate in the free homecoming programme, having previously been unsuccessful in registering for similar initiatives.

“I am very grateful to be able to participate in this free homecoming programme from MyPertamina. I had previously tried to register for other free homecoming programmes but was unsuccessful. I hope this MyPertamina programme continues to succeed and expand,” he said.
