Pertamina Patra Niaga Hosts PINDEX 2026, Showcasing Downstream Energy Sector Innovations
PT Pertamina Patra Niaga officially opened the Pertamina Patra Niaga Infrastructure Downstream Experience (PINDEX) 2026 at ICE BSD Hall 10, Tangerang, on Wednesday (3/6/2026). As the first downstream engineering innovation event organised by Pertamina Patra Niaga, it serves as a platform to showcase technology, infrastructure, and innovations within the downstream energy sector to support national energy resilience and independence.
The President Director of Pertamina Patra Niage, Mars Ega Legowo Putra, explained that PINDEX 2026 is designed as a collaborative forum that brings various parties together to share knowledge and experience to create added value for the national energy industry. “PINDEX is not merely a meeting forum between suppliers and buyers; it is a forum for sharing knowledge, identifying collaboration opportunities, and collectively creating value. Let us explore various development opportunities, ranging from petrol station reforms and modernised fuel tanker concepts to fuel terminals that can be developed into blending facilities, as well as biorefinery technology, digitalisation, and artificial intelligence relevant to future operational needs,” said Mars Ega.
Meanwhile, the Director of Downstream Optimisation and Distribution of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Hari Purnomo, revealed that during its three-day duration, the event features 73 exhibitions from companies and brands in the technology and energy infrastructure sectors, alongside national and international strategic partners. The event also serves as a space for conferences and discussions to strengthen collaboration and the adoption of reliable downstream technologies. “Approximately 73 partners are present to collaborate and share their technologies. The technologies presented cover various aspects, including instrumentation, pipelines, fuel tankers, Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE), as well as the maritime industry, particularly regarding jetty facilities,” stated Hari.
At the same opportunity, the Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Roberth MV. Dumatubun, invited the public to attend PINDEX 2026 to gain insights into future technological developments in the energy sector. “We invite the public to visit PINDEX and see firsthand how energy is distributed, the technologies used, and the various innovations that support daily energy services. Moving forward, Indonesia’s energy distribution will become a backbone that must be supported by modern, sophisticated technology that also prioritises environmental aspects,” said Roberth.
The opening ceremony of PINDEX 2026 was also attended by the Director of Business Support of PT Pertamina (Persero) Erry Sugiharto, along with the Board of Commissioners and Directors of Pertamina Patra Niaga, as well as various strategic partners and energy industry players.
